Wow. Hard to think of a better example of too much money and not enough sense. That's right - me too - I'm talking about MSN Found, the fake blog site of unreal marketing personas dreamed up by some "should be fired" marketing team. Eeek.
The funny thing is, it is so terrible - that now it is sure to get a ton of links on blogs (like this) and eventually earn mentions in the press, by which time, it won't matter that the ad is so terrible (made you look) especially since none of these bloggers would have tried MSN Search anyway. By the time it gets mainstream attention, no one who hears about it in the press will see any difference between this flavor of marketing cheese, as opposed to, say, the stupid butterfly ads. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but I bet this terrible concept actually helps MSN search, as much as it hurts to watch. How else were they going to get the A listers to link to them!
The worst part is, that its now 3 full weeks with no posts at the actually MSN Search blog. I think Brady might actually be too embarassed (which is an accomplishment in itself) to get back on the mic. Let's hear from the fools behind this ad - that would be a great post.
