A tip I have about Pizzeria Nostrana

This is a pretty fantastic place and the tartufo infused buffalo mozzarella pizza I ate may be one of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. You’ve got to try it!

We were visiting from Seattle, and to my mind, it was something like a cross between the thin crust goodness of Tutta Bella and the more expansive menu of Osteria La Spiga. It’s definitely top notch, and not at all stuffy or over priced, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used.

First draft

On vacation last week, I started stoking the fires for a new round of ideas and inspiration. I bought a bunch of new books. I spent some time writing down some ideas. And as part of all that, I started thinking about folks I really admire and how I might better emulate my heroes. What I have in mind is taking some time to identify people I admire and want to model myself after.

My list is a hodge podge of entrepreneurs and innovators, artists and politicians. Most of them are outspoken, emotional, well-spoken and grounded as individuals. What I’d like to do is spend a little time each month reflecting on each person and asking “have I expressed my inner Chuck D lately” or “what would Emerson do?”. The whole project strikes me as Franklin – so I’ve added him to the list as well. These folks are my personal board of directors – my self created junto.
